We just received this beautiful picture book today and we can clearly see why it won the Waterstones Illustrated Book of 2026. It's AWESOME.
It has a remarkable rhythm throughout and children are simply going to fall in love with the monsters. They will soon realise that although the monsters are different and may seem scary they are in fact just little children themselves. The monsters need to bath, brush their teeth and sleep too. Getting lots of love from their parents and guardians.
