Lyde Court has something for everyone. It's FREE parking, the food is GREAT and it's dog friendly.

Our FREE story-time sessions on Thursdays, for Under-5s are relaxed sessions. Fve minutes here and five minutes there. A chance to relax grab a cake and a brew and a story or two. The opportunity to meet other babies and toddlers with their parents, grandparents or guardians.

The main sessions begin 10:30am, 11:00am, and 11:30am  usually finishing around 12 noon.

Run by Rose English in the company if her little muse Miss Ruby Heart. A plush Ruby King Charles spaniel, who likes to dress up. 🌹📖☕️🍰🐾

What happened?

• Book lovers chatted to 22 local authors and perused their fine collection of published works.
• There was magical storytelling (for children & adults).
• We had 77 entries for our children's competition - theme of 'Farming' each winner awarded a £10 book voucher donated by The Children's Bookshelf  plus an eco-friendly plush toy and a certificate!

• The competition entries are currently on display in The Children's Bookshelf till further notice.

**We had an extra giveaway for people who booked FREE TICKETS in advance and we are just awaiting final number counts before we announce the winner**
