Regular Storytime Most Thursdays
Lyde Court has something for everyone. It's FREE parking, the food is GREAT and it's dog friendly.
Our FREE story-time sessions on Thursdays, for Under-5s are relaxed sessions. Fve minutes here and five minutes there. A chance to relax grab a cake and a brew and a story or two. The opportunity to meet other babies and toddlers with their parents, grandparents or guardians.
During school holidays all ages and abilities are welcome. Simply pop by and say Hi.
Run by Rose English in the company of her little muse Miss Ruby Heart. A plush Ruby King Charles spaniel, who likes to dress up. 🌹📖☕️🍰🐾

What happened?
- Book lovers chatted to 22 local authors and perused their fine collection of published works.
- There was magical storytelling (for children & adults).
- We had 77 entries for our children's competition - theme of 'Farming' each winner awarded a £10 book voucher donated by The Children's Bookshelf plus an eco-friendly plush toy and a certificate!

2025 Events
Hello Book Lovers
We have some wonderful events coming up this year mainly in and around Hereford. So watch this space. From Festival Fairs like the one we attended Saturday 31st May 2025 at The Globe Hay.
To Artisan Markets in the beautiful surroundings of Lyde Court. A beautiful countryside venue both family friendly and dog friendly, with it's wonderful café open 10am - 4pm. Plus they have live music nights and other wonderful events.
You can also find us at the Monthly Sunday Markets in Maylord Orchards, Hereford.
As an extra bonus during the school summer holidays we are also planning several FREE Storytime Events. Dates yet to be finalised.
