Happy Holidays everyone.
So, we have come to that in-between time of the holidays. The time when you cannot even remember what day it is. Twixmas.
I am finding it particularly strange as this has been the end of an era for me. You see after my (just over) seventeen years with Wye Valley NHS Trust I am retiring. My last working day was actually Christmas Eve. It is both scary and exciting.
Scary because have I done my calculations correctly, will I be able to still pay all my bills? But exciting because 2026 is National Year of Reading and my friend Charlotte L.Taylor of Wild Wood Press and I have already planned several exiting storytime and book events. (More info to follow soon.)
